The City Council of Santa Úrsula has initiated a commercial enhancement campaign titled ‘A milk and milk, please’. This initiative encourages residents to appreciate Zaperocos from a minimum of 10 out of the 21 participating establishments. The period for participation will remain open from April 1 to 30, and votes must be submitted via the website www.lecheleche.santoursula.es.

The mayor of the town, Juan Acosta, highlights that this campaign aims to encourage patronage of local cafés and to promote the tasting of a traditional creation from northern Tenerife. He elaborates that it represents an additional measure to bolster the local business landscape of Santa Úrsula through an engaging participatory approach.

The public voting will determine which three zaperocos receive the highest appreciation in the municipality, with results to be revealed following the conclusion of the campaign. Additionally, participants will have the chance to win consumption vouchers worth €100 and €50, redeemable at local businesses.

The councillor for Commerce, Elisa Hernández, notes that each café will display a tablecloth featuring the campaign’s imagery along with a specific QR code. Voting will only be possible when physically present at the designated locations, thanks to geolocation functionality.

The winners will be announced on Monday, May 5, via the municipal social media channels and on the website www.santoursula.es, where the competition details are also accessible.
