The Los Silos Town Council has cancelled classes for tomorrow, Thursday, at CEIP Aregume and the El Duende de los Silos Nursery School, owing to the repercussions of the Borrasca Olivier affecting the municipality in the north of Tenerife.
“The decision has been made by the Territorial Directorate of Education of the Canary Islands Government due to the potential for flooding caused by the impact on Blas Barranco,” the Consistory stated.
Danger of Collapse
Furthermore, the Los Silos Town Council has mandated the temporary closure of the Wheat land access road until 07:00 on Thursday, due to the imminent risk of collapse at three critical locations along the route.
