Maritime rescue rescues 22 migrants aboard a Cayuco 11 miles from La Restinga (El Hierro)

Maritime rescue has rescued this morning to 22 migrants, all of them of sub -Saharan origin, aboard a Cayuco that sailed 11 miles from the port of La Restinga, on the island of El Hierro, as reported on Saturday the state agency.

Thus, around 5.00, it was the Civil Guard who informed the Maritime Rescue Center in Tenerife of the location of the boat, 11 miles from La Restinga, so he proceeded to mobilize Salvamar Acrux, which went to his meeting.

An hour later proceeded to the rescue of a total of 22 migrants, sub -Saharan men in apparent good health. They arrived at the port of La Restinga at around 6:20.
