The Natural Environment and Safety Management area handed over to the Vilaflor city council the works to improve the municipality’s hostel, as well as the installation of new games in the Las Lajas recreational park, both actions carried out with an investment of more than 40,000 euros.
In the shelter, the Cabildo carried out, through an agreement, reform works on some facilities that were in poor condition. Likewise, the playful furniture in the children’s area was improved.
The mayor, Agustina Beltrán, pointed out that the Council of Tenerife has made an investment that improves these facilities, «so necessary for a municipality in which activities in the natural environment are a priority, given that the number of people who visit Vilaflor de Chasna with the intention and the interest to enjoy the natural spaces ».
