The International Carnival of the Christians, Arona 2025, attracted thousands of attendees in a vibrant spectacle, featuring the lively rhythms of batucadas and tropical music. The procession was led by the float of the Carnival Queen, followed by ten additional vehicles showcasing the queens of the elderly and children alongside their respective honourable ladies.
The most distinctive groups from the Carnival of the Christians, along with various guests, were in attendance: K’nadum, Playeritos, Southern Rhythm, Ay Caramba, Twisting, Guasonas, Kuliquitacas, Guajeiros, Mamelons, Mamelucos, Cariocas, Songs, Beanky, Joroperos, Wild Dance, Bahía Bahitiare, New Sensation, and many others, including the Diabolical, Rumberos, Crazy Devils, Tropicana, Triqui Traces, Trifquitos, Dancers, Valley, Bella Mariana, Wild Dance, Are of Abona, Ampa the Cactus, Abortaasao, The Authentic of the South, Floats, the Group of Major of Arona, the Group of the Patronage of Culture, the Characters of the Carnival, and all those who wished to partake in the festivities.
An authentic celebration, much to the delight of an audience that filled the route along the Coso, stretching from the Gran Hotel Arona on Juan Carlos I Avenue to the Cultural Centre of Christians.
Widow’s Sardine and Dance Burial
The International Carnival of the Christians, Arona 2025, will conclude with its traditional burial of the sardine, which will traverse from the Cultural Centre along AV. Sweden to the beach of the Christians. At the finale, the widow’s dance will occur, featuring a performance by the chord group.
