Four individuals have sustained injuries on Saturday evening, two of whom are in a critical condition, following a blaze in a residence on Vista Castillo, within the municipality of El Rosario (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred at 9:12 p.m., when the 1-1-2 control room received a notification about a fire at a house, indicating that four people were affected. In response, CECOES promptly deployed the necessary emergency resources to the site.
Upon arrival, firefighters extinguished the flames and ventilated the property. Meanwhile, health personnel from SUC treated the four individuals, consisting of two men and two women, who were suffering from smoke inhalation, as well as injuries and burns, with two of them in critical condition.
They were subsequently transferred to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands, Our Lady of Candelaria University Hospital, and the La Laguna-Mercedes Health Centre.
The Local Police assisted the emergency responders, while the Civil Guard initiated the investigation.
