This Sunday, three flights have been redirected from Tenerife South Airport to Gran Canaria owing to adverse weather conditions in the vicinity.
The existence of shear during the approach to the airfield, which refers to a sudden change in wind direction or speed, has necessitated this decision for the sake of landing safety.
