Santa Cruz de Tenerife 15 Mar. (Europa Press) –

A 35-year-old individual was airlifted on Saturday after experiencing a moderate health issue in a hard-to-reach area of Araya, situated in the municipality of Candelaria (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2.

The incident took place at approximately 11:39, when the 1-1-2 control room received a notification regarding the situation, prompting CECOES to swiftly mobilise the necessary emergency resources to the location.

The victim was rescued by a GES helicopter and taken to Tenerife Norte Airport, where an ambulance from SUCO managed his medical assistance and transport to Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital.

The Civil Guard worked alongside health services and initiated appropriate procedures.
