Arona Police Seek Community Help in Locating Missing Individual

The Arona Local Police have sought public assistance on Sunday to shed light on an incident that transpired on Friday evening, between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. A minor, who was riding a skateboard, was struck by a car while attempting to cross Boulevard Chajofe avenue.

Eyewitnesses reported that the vehicle involved in the incident was a light blue or similar model. Following the collision, the 14-year-old child was taken to hospital with serious injuries, as noted by the municipality in a statement.

The information available suggests that after the child was struck, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene at high speed, failing to assist the injured party.
