Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 8 Mar. (Europa Press) –
A 42-year-old male and a 38-year-old female sustained injuries this Saturday when their vehicle collided with the central reservation on the North Highway (TF-5), near the funeral home in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, within the municipality of La Laguna, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:01, when the 1-1-2 control room received a notification regarding the head-on collision of a car with the median, which had two occupants inside, on the specified route. Consequently, CECOES promptly activated the necessary emergency resources to respond to the situation.
Upon arrival, the Sanitary Emergency Department of the Canarian Emergency Service provided assistance to the two injured individuals, who exhibited moderate multiple contusions, and transported them to the University Hospital of Our Lady of the Candelaria.
Following this, the Civil Guard initiated the appropriate procedures.
