A 61-year-old woman has been transported in a serious condition after being struck by a vehicle on Wednesday on Las Cabezas street, in the municipality of Puerto de la Cruz, Tenerife, as reported by Canary 1-2 Canary Islands.
The incident took place shortly after midday, when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands Government received a report about a woman being hit by a vehicle on public roadways.
Upon initial assessment, the victim displayed multiple traumas, prompting her urgent transport in a medicalised ambulance provided by the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
The Local Police managed traffic and undertook the necessary procedures.
