A motorist has sustained serious injuries this Tuesday following a collision with another vehicle on the North Highway of Tenerife, the TF-5, as reported by the 1-1-2 Emergency and Safety Coordinating Centre.
The incident took place on the TF-5 heading towards Santa Cruz de Tenerife, near Rodeos in La Laguna, where two ambulances from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) were dispatched.
The SUC personnel provided initial assistance to the individual, who was suffering from critical polytrauma, before transporting them to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
Additionally, the Civil Guard managed traffic on the road and conducted the necessary documentation, while the Local Police worked alongside other emergency services.
Furthermore, road maintenance staff carried out cleaning operations on the highway.
