Santa Cruz de Tenerife 21 Feb. (Europa Press) –

Officers from the National Police have apprehended an individual as the suspected offender of a drug trafficking offence, utilising his residence as a distribution hub for narcotic substances, situated in a district of La Laguna, on the island of Tenerife.

The investigation was initiated following tips about the sale of synthetic drugs from a property. Subsequently, after conducting surveillance and confiscating dosage devices from purchasers, ample incriminating evidence was gathered that enabled the relevant Court of Instruction to grant permission for the entry and search of the residence, as stated by the Security Forces in a release.

During the property search, the officers seized 2,654 grams of hashish, 3.1 grams of cocaine, 8,360 euros in cash, and a katana. Ultimately, the arrested individual was presented before the pertinent judicial authority for the alleged offence of drug trafficking.
