Santa Cruz de Tenerife 21 Feb. (Europa Press) –
Two women, aged 83 and 21, sustained moderate injuries in a collision involving three vehicles in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of 112 in the Canary Islands.
The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon on the TF-5, near Miramar, heading north in the municipality of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, where firefighters from Tenerife responded to release one of the injured individuals who was trapped within the car.
Subsequently, personnel from the Canarian Emergency Services (SUC) attended to the 83-year-old woman, who initially displayed moderate multiple contusions; she was then transported by ambulance to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands. Meanwhile, the 21-year-old was treated for moderate cranial trauma and was evacuated by ambulance to the La Colina clinic.
Additionally, in the vicinity, the road maintenance service was called to clear the road, along with agents from the Civil Guard who managed traffic and conducted the necessary investigations.
