Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 19 Feb. (Europa Press) –
The Women’s Violence Court number 1 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife has decided on Wednesday, following the prosecutor’s request, to provisionally close the case involving Rayco García, the second largest shareholder of CD Tenerife, who was being investigated for alleged coercion related to gender violence, as reported by the Communication Office of the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands.
García has given evidence up to three times before the judge in recent days following a complaint from his ex-partner. He has ruled out extending the case for alleged psychological harm.
This case closure comes just a day before an extraordinary shareholders’ meeting where García was set to be appointed as the new president, replacing Paulino Rivero.
