Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 16 Feb. (Europa Press) –
On Sunday, two individuals, aged 18 and 44, were assisted by the personnel of the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) for smoke inhalation following a kitchen fire in a residence situated in the El Montillo neighbourhood, within the municipality of The Sauzal, Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2.
The incident took place at 10:51 am when the 1-1-2 control room received a notification about the situation, prompting CECOES to quickly mobilise the necessary emergency resources to address the matter.
A team from the Civil Guard entered the property and evacuated a male present inside. Specifically, two individuals were affected by smoke inhalation and received assistance from SUC staff.
Suffering from moderate intoxication, they were transported by ambulance to the Tacoronte health centre.
Meanwhile, firefighters undertook ventilation of the house and extinguished the flames in the kitchen.
