Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 15 Feb. (Europa Press) –
A 32-year-old woman sustained injuries this Saturday following an incident involving a vehicle on Castro and Ayala Street, within the municipality of La Laguna, located on the island of Tenerife, as stated by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2.
The occurrence took place around 11:47, when the 1-1-2 control room received reports of a woman being struck by a car in the specified area, prompting CECOES to swiftly mobilise the necessary emergency resources to address the situation.
Upon arrival, personnel from the Canarian Emergency Department provided initial care to the victim, who was found to have sustained moderate trauma. She was subsequently transported by ambulance to the San Juan de Dios Hospital for further treatment.
In conclusion, the Local Police managed traffic and initiated the appropriate procedures.
