Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 15 Feb. (Europa Press) –
A paraglider has sustained serious injuries this Saturday following a fall on the TF-620 road in the municipality of Fasnia (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred at 12:50, when the 1-1-2 control room received a notification indicating that an individual required medical assistance after experiencing a fall in the specified area, prompting CECOES to promptly activate the necessary emergency services.
A physician who was present at the scene conducted an initial assessment of the injured party. Upon arrival, the SUC staff provided care to the individual, who had suffered a severe fracture, before transferring them by ambulance to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de Candelaria.
Subsequently, the Civil Guard managed traffic and carried out the necessary reporting.
