Following nearly two days of frenzied activity across social media after the jury’s verdict last Wednesday, this Murgas gala has garnered attention akin to the Oscars, featuring the Sonora, Zeta Zetas, Ironicos, Chaladas, Guanchinquiestas, Trapaseros, Bambones, and Mamelucos, in that precise order. At 8:30 p.m., taking the stage to kick off what promises to be a lengthy day, the Nifu Nifafa affirmation, Murga Mother of the Carnival, will present an emotional tribute dedicated to Nicolás Mingorance, the creator of the “Cubanito”.
