If there is an artist who has known how to combine music with poetry that has undoubtedly been Joan Manuel Serrat. More than 50 years of musical career where Catalan has always known how to reinvent himself and bring his lyrics closer, music and voice to five generations from different parts of the world.
Serrat is saying goodbye and has chosen to do it in the most poetic way possible, visiting all the places where he has found affection and for which he has developed a great vice for singing throughout his career. ‘The vice of singing 1965-2022’, which is how the tour is called, will land in the Canary Islands next summer, more specifically on June 18 and 21 of 2022.
On June 18 the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will welcome the voice and feelings of Serrat passing two days later, on the 21st, to Tenerife where the chosen setting has been the Adán Martín Auditorium in Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Serrat says goodbye to his audience from where he feels most comfortable, the stage, and it is a privilege that the islands are part of a tour that puts an end to his 56 years of music, voice and lyrics that have passed from generation to generation. generation and that will remain in the collective imagination for a long time.
