An approximately 80-year-old man of foreign descent passed away this Thursday after being retrieved from the water exhibiting cardiorespiratory failure on Fañabé Beach (Adeje), located in the south of Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre 112.
The lifeguards at the scene administered basic cardiopulmonary resuscitation techniques until the arrival of the resources from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC), which proceeded with advanced resuscitation efforts but unfortunately were unable to revive him, leading to the confirmation of his death.
The SUC dispatched two ambulances to the site and also coordinated with both Local Police and National Police officers, who created the necessary reports.
