The 4,238 tickets for the final of the adult murgas contest were made available today by the autonomous agency of parties and recreational activities (Oafar) of the City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and were completely sold out within an hour and a half after being released at 9.00 am through the platform Entradascarnavalnarife.es. It is notable that the purchasing process was carried out smoothly.
Among the tickets available online, 3,038 are designated solely for the final of the contest, while the 1,200 remaining tickets pertain to Bonds made available for the three phases and the final of the contest, which were entirely sold within an hour and a half of commencing their online distribution.
The OFAR will allocate the remaining tickets to the participating murgas in the 2025 Carnival contest, whereas the entries that complete the venue’s capacity will be distributed, following the payment of their cost, among the supporting companies and collaborators of the Carnival. All tickets that correspond to the overall capacity of the Murgas final are paid for, thus, without exception.
This contest’s final is scheduled for Friday, February 14, at 8:30 p.m., taking place at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairgrounds and will feature performances from the highest-scoring groups from the preceding three phases.
The other competitions included in the Carnival 2025 programme also experienced a strong sales momentum on their initial day, recalling that the galas for both adult and child queens will be available for purchase from tomorrow, Thursday, January 30, starting at 9:00 am online. Once again, tickets for the choreographic contest have been completely sold out, along with the third phase of the adult murgas contest.
Ticket Sales
The distribution of tickets at the Fairgrounds will commence days prior to the Children’s Murgas contest, which begins on February 7, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On the days when contests and galas occur, the opening hours will remain similar until the conclusion of the event.
In the case of the Gala for the elderly, access will be granted through invitations, due to its complimentary nature, which will be provided on the day of the event, Wednesday, February 19, in a designated and clearly marked area outside the fairgrounds.
