Taxi Accident on TF-1 in Arico Results in Three Moderately Injured Passengers

Three individuals sustained moderate injuries following the overturning of a taxi this Monday on the TF-1 Southbound, within the boundaries of the municipality of Arico in Tenerife, as reported by the 1-1-2 Canary Islands.

The incident occurred shortly after 12:00, when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands Government received a notification indicating that a taxi had flipped over on that road.

Firefighters secured the vehicle and extricated one of the passengers from within the cabin.

The injured were assessed by personnel from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC).

One of the injured parties is a man who sustained a head injury and was subsequently transported via a medical ambulance from the Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria. The other injured individual is a woman with multiple injuries who was taken to the San Juan de Dios Hospital in a basic life support ambulance.

The third injured person was directly taken to the health centre for evaluation.

The Civil Guard completed the necessary documentation regarding the incident.
