The hotel associations of Canary Islands unanimously supported the Covid passport adoption at the time of accessing the interiors of the premises, but they warned of one thing: the possible reprisals of the anti-vaccines.

By groups of WhatsApp and social networks, many deniersAlluding to the alleged “violation” of their fundamental rights, they began to organize: any local who wanted to comply with the law would be singled out. What is one of the formulas? Putting negative -invented- comments on the internet, something that severely penalizes businesses.

That happened with the popular Canaima arepera. Josué Fumero, son of its owner, announced on the cameras of the program Good morning Canary, from Televisión Canaria that would begin to request the Covid certificate upon arrival; the reaction was immediate: “Within half an hour a criticism came from Google in which they said that we were a site that did not recommend anyone for requesting that certificate.”

Today in the @RTVCes We go out to inform that we will ask for a COVID Certificate. Complying with what is dictated by the authorities.
The vast majority of people have responded with understanding and collaboration. But there are always unfair people with the least guilty of this situation, the hoteliers. pic.twitter.com/rW05W3Q0j1

At that time, the company requested that this criticism be withdrawn since, simply, it was only complying with the law, also being a way of not feeding this type of reaction: “It is true that Google reacted very well from the first moment, But that kind of thing, when there are people with that evil, of course they hurt us ”.

It is not the only business that has complained about it. At the national level, different hospitality platforms have been organized to defend themselves against these situations, which are always organized and in which ‘objectives’ are chosen in WhatsApp groups. The criticisms range from noting that the certificate is requested to pointing out the poor quality of the food and even the presence of rats in the premises.

In this case, the popular response has been unbeatable: “Since this became known, since we made it known, many people began to write to us and show their support on social networks. I am not talking about regular customers, but even about people who have never visited us, or sporadically and who have told us that they would come to visit us. We can only say thank you ”.

For me the best of this cross with an outstanding service they comply with the law for one we do not pay all for force neighbors
