The vessel Juan Sebastián Elcano departed from Cádiz six days ago and is set to arrive at the harbour of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. This Spanish Navy ship has circumnavigated the globe 11 times, with its most recent journey occurring in 2021, and has functioned as a training vessel since it embarked on its maiden voyage on April 19, 1927.
