Courses designed to acquire skills for employment range from dining or transportation supervisors – aides on school vehicles, for the elderly or other groups – to graphic designers. This is the ethos of the Tenerife Joven del Cabildo School, which provides a diverse range of training to address fields as varied as education and social care; leisure and sports; health; audiovisual production; and digital design, among others. This initiative has proved to be successful, as reflected in its statistics: during the 2024 edition, over 7,300 young individuals from Tenerife aged between 16 and 34 enrolled. Alongside the instructors, some of the standout courses include Spanish sign language, first aid, nutrition, and dietetics.
