A 76-year-old gentleman sustained moderate injuries following a fall at the Los Poleos viewpoint, located in Guía de Isora (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of 1-1-2 in the Canary Islands.
The incident occurred this Tuesday on the TF-38 road, prior to reaching the Los Poleos viewpoint in the aforementioned locality, where personnel from the Immediate Response Team (ERIE) of the Red Cross and the Tenerife Fire Consortium were dispatched to assist the injured individual.
Following this, staff from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) provided aid to the gentleman, who had a moderate head injury at the time of initial assistance. He was subsequently transported via ambulance from the SUC to the Hospiten Sur University Hospital.
