Puerto de la Cruz Mayor Celebrates Cabildo’s Long-Awaited Investment in the Municipality

The mayor of Puerto de la Cruz, Leopoldo Afonso, expresses his delight that the Cabildo is “finally” investing in his municipality. He emphasised this point during a visit yesterday from Lope Afonso, the vice president of the Cabildo de Tenerife and Minister of Tourism, who happens to be his brother, to the tourist city. “After several years of no investment from the Cabildo in Puerto de la Cruz, at last, thanks to the Department of Tourism, we are obtaining adequate funding to carry out significant projects such as the comprehensive renovation of Aceviño Street,” stated Leopoldo Afonso.
