Yesterday, numerous individuals filled the streets across all municipalities of Tenerife to greet Their Majesties The Three Wise Men of the East, who finally arrived after a lengthy year of anticipation, ready to spread joy and provide a splendid conclusion to the festive season.

From the northern end to the southern tip, the island bustled with excitement as children and adults alike revelled in activities structured around the royal visit throughout the day.

The traditional ceremony of handing over the keys by the mayors commenced the emotional festivities, leading to welcoming receptions and vibrant parades, with thousands of performers involved in delighting the children and their families during this joyous occasion.

La Laguna welcomed Their Majesties at City Hall in the morning, from where they proceeded to Plaza de La Concepción in front of approximately 5,000 attendees. In the afternoon, that number surged to around 35,000 as spectators lined the traditional route for the parade, which has been restored after more than thirty years.

In La Orotava, another 30,000 individuals partook in the Kings’ celebrations, with a parade that stands as a hallmark in the northern region of the island. The Eastern monarchs, alongside an entourage of over 500 participants, electrified the crowd with their presence.

The procession in El Rosario met all expectations. The pleasant weather complemented the over 5,000 attendees who came to greet Their Majesties as they filled the heart of La Esperanza, enjoying a royal procession marked by deep-rooted traditions and a connection to the rural community.

Candelaria wrapped up the Night of Dreams with greater attendance, numbering around 20,000, in a day brimming with surprises where both adults and children created unforgettable memories.

In Adeje, the helicopter carrying the Kings landed on the municipal football pitch, greeted by an excited crowd who enjoyed a children’s performance while eagerly waiting for the enchanting night to commence.

Granadilla de Abona welcomed Their Majesties, who arrived accompanied by their pages, all laden with gifts for the children. The festivities kicked off in the early afternoon, featuring numerous delightful surprises.

Similar scenes echoed throughout the island during the entire enchanting day as thousands gathered. Whether on foot, by car, on camels, or by helicopter, the Three Wise Men reaffirmed their role as the definitive icons of Christmas.
