The La Laguna City Council has opted to augment the number of tickets available for visits during the festive season to the Royal Camp set up by the Three Wise Men of the East in the La Constitución park, which welcomed the public starting from the 26th.
In response to the popularity and positive feedback for this space aimed at children’s enjoyment and family entertainment, the Department of Festivals has decided to add 60 more spots for each of the showings scheduled until January 4. Tickets can solely be collected at the Teatro Leal box office beginning this Monday at 11:00 a.m., incurring a processing fee of 1 euro per ticket.
The Festivals Councillor, Dailos González, emphasises that “we have received numerous requests from families who were unable to secure tickets for the Royal Camp and we have chosen to enhance the capacity for each performance, which will now accommodate 410 individuals, always adhering to the guidelines set out in the safety plan. Our aim is to ensure that as many people as possible can enjoy this unique and enchanting space,” the councillor remarked.
Until January 4, the exhibition can be visited daily, offering three showings of approximately 90 minutes at 3:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., and 7:00 p.m., including on Sundays and January 1. Notably, on December 31, the performances will occur in the morning at 10:00 and 12:00. Therefore, from this Monday, there will still be 17 showings available, allowing more than a thousand additional visitors to join the 9,500 who have already enjoyed the Royal Camp.
La Constitución Park once again serves as the venue chosen by Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltasar, enabling the children of the municipality to enjoy their own space for entertainment and recreation throughout their Christmas holiday. The site features various attractions enhanced by characters from Disney as well as elements from children’s and family films, alongside activity workshops, crafts, photocalls, and the customary Three Wise Men tents complete with their thrones, where children can approach the royal pages to present their letters.
