Once again, Their Majesties of the East, Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltasar, have established their Royal Camp in La Constitución park of La Laguna, from which they will organise everything necessary to arrange the presents that will be delivered to households on the evening of 5th January.
The venue opened its doors yesterday afternoon, with tickets having sold out well in advance, according to La Laguna City Council. In total, until 4th January, 27 performances are scheduled, accommodating 350 people per show, meaning that approximately 9,500 individuals will have the opportunity to partake in the activities arranged at the site.
The Mayor of La Laguna, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, alongside the Fiestas councillor, Dailos González, and various members of the municipal council, inaugurated this space, which “for 10 days will transform into the hub of excitement for all the children of La Laguna,” as emphasised by the local councillor.
“We express our gratitude to the Three Wise Men for selecting our city as their logistical centre in the Canary Islands to carry out their preparations and to enliven the anticipation for the most enchanting night of the year,” added Luis Yeray Gutiérrez.
Royal pages, elves, and characters from cinema and television will enliven the various attractions, activity workshops, music, crafts, and games, energising the Royal Camp, as well as collecting letters from the young ones with their wishes for Melchor, Gaspar, and Baltasar to fulfil their dreams on 5th January.
This year also introduces a photo area (photocall) where families can capture and print a festive picture as a keepsake, in addition to featuring a Carbonillas and Carboneros passage that will depict the preparation of charcoal, among many other delightful surprises.
