Officials in the Urban Planning department of Arona Town Hall in Tenerife conducted an assessment of a property situated in Los Cristianos following an eviction prompted by concerns regarding potential damage from the storm Dorothea.
Firefighters along with personnel from the Arona Local Police undertook an evaluation of the building, concluding that there was no imminent danger present. The mayor, Fátima Lemes, stated, “there are no structural issues, deformations, or anomalies that would suggest there are structural concerns.”
The situation arose after several residents reported the shifting of some tiles, which was ultimately attributed to the natural settling of the building itself.
