The General Directorate of Emergencies of the Canary Islands Government approved yesterday the Municipal Action Plan to Combat the Risk of Forest Fire in El Rosario. This decision was made during the meeting of the Civil Protection and Emergency Response Commission of the Canary Islands, which is led by the Minister of Territorial Policy, Territorial Cohesion and Water, Manuel Miranda. This plan serves as a “single document” for Tenerife and marks the second of its kind in the Canary Islands, following the one for El Paso (La Palma). Its primary aim is to enhance the speed of decision-making during such emergencies, as stated by the rosariero council in their press announcement.
