The University of La Laguna (ULL), along with the local authorities of Puerto de la Cruz, Los Realejos, and La Orotava, is set to inaugurate the University of the Valley of La Orotava this spring. This initiative aims to make higher education more accessible to a larger audience in the region. Currently, the three municipalities offer university extension courses, but the plan is to establish a venture similar to the one that occurs in Adeje each summer.
