Geothermal Power: The Next Step for Portuense’s Energy Community

Puerto de la Cruz City Council and Ashotel are making strides in the energy transition of the region’s hospitality sector. With this goal in mind, David Hernández, the Sustainable City Councillor; Enrique Talg, the Vice-President of Ashotel; and Enrique Padrón, the Director of Innovation and Sustainable Development at the same organisation, alongside technicians from the Tenerife Energy Transition Office, convened at the Tiga Hotel to discuss the establishment of the municipality’s second energy community.
