A key intervention

This is one of the works in which the municipal government plans to invest around 800,000 euros just for the drafting of the projects. Its subsequent execution will require an estimated investment of around 20 million euros, according to the mayor of Santiago.

In addition, A section of pavement on Malpaís Street, in Tamaimo, is already under construction. This is the route that runs from the area of the road near the main road to its connection with the sidewalk located in the vicinity of IES Tamaimo, always on the right side in an upward direction of traffic.

The Santiago del Teide City Council invests more than 18,000 euros in enabling this pedestrian crossing that will provide security to users in a very busy area, since around this enclave they are located in the Tamaimo Infant and Primary Education Center (CEIP), the soccer field, the local Secondary Education Institute (IES), as well as a set of single-family homes.
