The Municipal Group of the Canary Coalition-Canarian Nationalist Party (CC-PNC) in the El Rosario City Council has achieved approval in plenary session of an improvement plan for the municipality’s playgrounds to provide them, in addition, with interactive play areas, promoting the use of technology in a responsible way, with positive values and content, that promote educational and cooperative games.
In the nationalist motion, approved unanimously, it was also requested that, as a matter of urgency, the cleanliness and functionality of all playgrounds and adjacent areas be improved, replacing those elements that are deteriorated or in poor condition, adding shady areas.
The councilor of CC in the Consistory of El Rosario Pedro Trujillo expressed his satisfaction and that of the nationalist municipal group for the agreement reached by the plenary session, and assured that the modernization of the playgrounds with the introduction of interactive games “would allow us to be a benchmark and one of the first municipalities in Tenerife to have these innovations in our playgrounds ».
The mayor assured that the new technologies, used correctly, “are a very good tool for working on the factors of physical, cognitive, affective and intellectual development of the smallest through the game you learn.” The playgrounds increasingly have new innovative and attractive elements for children, such as augmented reality and interactive games. «They propose other ways of playing in the playground by involving adults, using technology in a responsible way, with positive values and content that promote educational and cooperative games in which physical and cognitive development factors are worked on. affective and intellectual, so that children learn by playing, “explained Trujillo.
