The court of first instance and investigation number four in Granadilla de Abona has adjudicated that the suspected individuals involved in the homicide of a man, whose remains were discovered at the start of October in a tunnel at Abades (southern Tenerife), were tied up, partially charred, and exhibited stab wounds.
The apprehended individuals, who appeared in court on Wednesday, number five, including one minor, whose case is under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Prosecutor’s Office, as reported by the Superior Court of Justice of the Canary Islands.
The deceased, according to the investigation conducted by the Civil Guard, was abducted for several days in a northern municipality of Tenerife before being transported to the southern part of the island, where the individual was murdered and set on fire using gasoline.
The transit to the south and the incineration of the body were intended to hinder the identification of the remains and their linkage to the apprehended suspects, as per the investigation by the Organic Unit of the Judicial Police (UOPJ) of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Command.
