Police Crack Down on Drug Operation Near Santa Cruz de Tenerife School

Officers from the National Police have apprehended two individuals and dismantled a drug dealing operation situated in a residence near the institute The Veredillas in the Santa Cruz neighbourhood of Sobradillo.

The inquiry substantiated suspicions that cocaine and hashish were being distributed from that location, as well as confirming the identities of the inhabitants and confiscating several quantities of both illicit substances.

On October 16, a search operation was executed at the premises, culminating in the arrest of two individuals for suspected drug trafficking offences.

During the operation, authorities seized 180 grams of cocaine, 9,060 euros in cash, a vehicle, pieces of jewelry, a scale, an airsoft handgun, and various items used for packaging the drugs.

The arrestees have been placed in the custody of the judicial authorities.
