The El Sauzal Town Council has unveiled the events that are set to take place in the locality to celebrate Halloween, which falls on Thursday, October 31.

On the eve of All Saints’ Day, the Plaza del Príncipe de El Sauzal will be the venue for “one of the most spine-chilling yet enjoyable parties aimed at children and families, where they can partake in a variety of activities,” as stated by the town authorities.

The agenda includes inflatable bouncy castles at San Pedro Square, workshops filled with frightful fun, and face painting.

A terrifying costume parade is scheduled for 6:30 p.m., where prizes will be awarded to participants, along with the Dulcylin children’s performance.

Additionally, the evening will resonate with the rhythmic beats of a batucada courtesy of Maracatú, commencing at 8:30 p.m., followed by the burning of the temporary sculpture “Renacer,” created by artist Luigi Stinga (a peacock that has been displayed in the gardens of the Prince’s square).

The festivities will conclude at 9:30 p.m. with a performance celebrating the 20th Anniversary of the GeneraSión Orchestra, featuring contributions from various guest artists.

All events will be infused with roaming characters through the square, fostering an atmosphere that merges fright and merriment suitable for the entire family. Many of these decorative elements will be showcased in public areas to enhance the ambience prior to the occasion.

The Exhibition Hall will transform into a thrilling passage with the “Playmobil on Halloween” display, curated by collector Zulay Gutiérrez Rojas. From Monday, October 28 to Sunday, November 3, visitors can admire this remarkable installation featuring an array of these well-known toys.
