For the First Deputy Mayor and Councilor for Commerce of Los Realejos, Adolfo Gonzalez, «That was the objective of this initiative, to create attractions, boost the commercial offer of the town and create synergies to promote consumption by mobilizing, under strict preventive protocols for covid-19, as many people as possible on the streets, from which we are satisfied ».

«The event, coordinated with the commercial fabric of the municipality, replaces the format of the already known and usual Magic Night, adapted in this case to health regulations, although with the same essence, taking place between Calle Doctor González, Avenida de Los Remedios , Avenida de Canarias and streets La Gomera and El Hierro, integrating as a novelty a new space in Plaza Viera and Clavijo, “specified the councilor.

In the different stages, artistic performances were carried out in different formats, fashion catwalks, storytelling, children’s shows or acrobatics, among others. In addition, there was a large children’s play park, a craft fair with 15 artisans from the island together with the La Papa Bonita Association, a charity walk led by NGOs with live workshops and other parallel activities, a sample of different outdoor sports modalities , a product fair of the Gastronomic Seal of Los Realejos and a parallel exhibition of craft beers.

The itinerant exhibition Las Raíces was also present, with a migratory and social theme, with large panels located on public roads. Likewise, different dance groups from the municipality participated with different numbers and youth groups from the town developed initiatives of various kinds. The zumba marathon ended the day’s activities in Plaza Viera and Clavijo. Fashion was also the protagonist, giving room in this same event to invigorate the usual Los Realejos Fashion Show, which this year had not been able to be held on other dates initially planned given the restrictions due to the pandemic.
