An 80-year-old lady has sustained severe injuries following a collision with a vehicle on Reyes Católicos Avenue in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, according to the information provided by the 112 Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre of the Canary Islands.
The incident took place at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, at which point personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) were dispatched. Upon arrival, they confirmed that the woman was suffering from grave multiple injuries and was therefore transported in serious condition by ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital.
Officers from the Local Police also responded to the scene of the accident, executing the necessary procedures and managing the traffic.
