Rehabilitation works on the southern motorway (TF-1), passing through Arico, Fasnia and Güímar, are set to commence during the week of November 11 to 16 in the evening, with an expected duration of six months, as announced this Wednesday by the president of the Cabildo of Tenerife, Rosa Dávila.
At a press briefing concerning government council decisions, Dávila highlighted that this initiative involves an investment exceeding 30 million euros, aimed at addressing a segment of the TF-1 that accommodates over 50,000 vehicles daily.
This work will cover over 24 kilometres of road surface repair, which is currently in a significantly damaged condition, along with its junctions.
The island’s president has urged the public and road users travelling between these areas to exercise caution.
