A 23-year-old woman is in a critical state after being struck by a vehicle on Monday morning on César Manrique Avenue, located in the Tenerife town of La Laguna.
The incident occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m., when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Centre (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands Government received a call reporting the collision involving a woman on the road.
Upon initial medical assessment, the individual presented with severe multiple injuries and was transported in critical condition via a medicalised ambulance from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) to the University Hospital of the Canary Islands.
Local Police conducted the necessary proceedings and managed traffic flow in the area.
