Soul Sanet, Los Salvapantallas, Escuela de Calor, Sterogroove, and N1 Pelo de fool, along with comedians Kike Pérez, Omayra Cazorla, and Abián Díaz will take part in the inaugural edition of the Isla Viva Festival, taking place this weekend in Santa Cruz de Tenerife in the port area of the esplanade Francisco La Roche.

The Festival Councillor Javier Caraballero of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council unveiled the event at a press conference on Monday, noting that it will form part of the IX edition of the Santa Cruz Beer Festival and will also coincide with Le Good Market, a marketplace that promotes local, zero-kilometre producers, independent shops, and artisans from the islands.

The Isla Viva Festival is set to feature over a thousand square metres dedicated to entertainment, gastronomy, and performances, including an area specifically for gastronomic delights with more than 20 food stalls, as well as a children’s zone.

Plans include performances by DJs Jonay and Juana la Cubana, among others, across the various stages that will be set up. The Councillor expressed his delight that over 5,000 pre-sale tickets have already been sold for the festival, available for just 5 euros, which includes a drink.

In his view, these figures indicate the anticipated success of the festival, which aims to invigorate the city and transform it into a capital “filled with opportunities, alive, and supportive of the hospitality, retail, and cultural sectors.”
