On Wednesday morning, La Orotava Fire Brigade responded to a blaze involving a school transport bus that was ablaze in Los Realejos, Tenerife. Fortunately, at the time of the incident, there were no individuals on board and the driver was also outside the vehicle.
The incident unfolded at 8:30 a.m. when the alert was raised through the Tenerife Firefighters Coordination Centre by dialling 1-1-2.
Upon arrival at the site of the fire, the firefighters worked swiftly to extinguish the flames and cool down the nearby areas, as they were in close proximity to vegetated regions.
Additionally, the Local Police, National Police, and the Island Forest Fire Extinguishing Service were also dispatched to the scene.
