They control a fire in Valverde (El Hierro) that has burned some 3,200 meters of fine grass and heath

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Aug 11 (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Insular Operational Coordination Center (CECOPIN) of El Hierro has reported that a fire has been controlled in the area of ​​the Albercas de Tiñor, in the municipality of Valverde, after starting this Tuesday.

Specifically, and as reported by the Cabildo de El Hierro, the fire was considered controlled at 4:29 p.m., after burning some 3,200 square meters and 240 perimeter of fine pastures, as well as heath.

Currently, firefighters are working on extinguishing the fire.
