SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 29 September (EUROPA PRESS) –
Six individuals aged between 19 and 22 have sustained injuries, with one suffering serious injuries, following a car collision that took place this Sunday on the Autopista del Norte (TF-5), at the entry point to Santa Cruz, according to the Centre for Emergency and Security Coordination (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred shortly after half past five in the morning, when the 1-1-2 operational centre received a notification regarding a vehicle that had overturned on the approach road to the capital of Tenerife from the TF-5.
Cecoes promptly mobilised emergency services, dispatching a medical ambulance along with three basic life support ambulances from the SUC, Tenerife Fire Brigade, Local Police, Civil Guard, and staff from the Road Maintenance Service to the site.
Upon the arrival of emergency personnel, all occupants of the vehicle were found outside, prompting the firefighters to focus on securing the car and clearing the roadway.
SUC personnel treated the six individuals, one with serious injuries, three with moderate injuries, and two others with minor injuries. They were then transported to various hospital facilities for further treatment.
Police officers undertook the necessary reporting and managed traffic flow on the roadway.
