Santa Cruz de Tenerife boasts the newly opened Cuchillitos de Tristán children’s park, situated in the Ofra-Costa Sur district. This facility is part of the second phase of developments by the local council aimed at creating new play areas. Inaugurated last Tuesday, the park spans an area of 1,177 square metres, arranged across two levels, and involved an investment of 760,138 euros.
The mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, stated yesterday that “families can now delight in this newly established park, which is accessible and safe for the youngest members of the household.” The councillor for Public Services, Carlos Tarife, further noted that “the park is laid out over two levels, with the upper section encompassing 470 square metres and the lower section covering 700. Moreover, it features sand and rubber surfacing, complete with a variety of contemporary play modules, each with different themes, as well as an array of trees that will provide shade during the sunniest and hottest days.”
Furthermore, the recently renovated children’s park on Fernández Navarro Street in the Cuatro Torres neighbourhood, along with the one on Volcán de Chaorra Street, have also been inaugurated.
