The Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council, via the Public Services, Health and Environmental Sustainability department, has announced that the most recent water quality assessment conducted in the bathing areas of El Bloque and Los Charcos in Valleseco has returned favourable results, allowing for their reopening and, consequently, bathing activities.
Today, the Sanitary Inspection and Laboratory Service of the Tenerife Health Area, part of the Canary Islands Health Service (SCS), provided the outcomes of these analyses, which have confirmed normal parameters following the detection of contamination signs in previous studies conducted by the same service.
The Council emphasises that municipal personnel routinely collect water samples and conduct checks to ensure the beach meets the necessary cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards, making it suitable for bathing.
